Ive doen the 20 easy ones, 60 (out of 100) of the next ones, and 5 of the next ones after that. Had no problems with the language so far.

Just pick your save, then pick the top option, then pick which group, then the level.

When playing the buttons on the bottom are very simple. The 4 on the bottom left, the 1st picks drawing your line, the next allows you to draw a rough line for practice, the next places corsses on lines you know cant be drawn on, and the forth is the rubber. You can just tap on edges in line mode though to cycle through a line, a cross, and a blank.

The 3 on the bottom right are for showing tips, highlighting those sqaures that dont have the required number of edges covered, and the thrid brings up the menu

In the menu, the top right option resets the level, the one underneath exits (both times A confirms). The bottom left option exits the menu, and the bottom right saves the level as it is.

Thats it really. Just load it up and have fun.

Just a quick question - when do the rest of the puzzles 'open up' on the second set (10x10) of puzzles? Mine has numbers 1 to 40, but the rest are just question marks ...

Not sure exactly, but they just open up as you do earlier ones. Just keep playing and more will open up as you need them.

Off on holiday tomorrow for 10 days, should get plenty of puzzeling in then!

    Okay, cheers.

Careful not to waste your holiday playing Slitherlink though - dunno about you, but I find half an hour passes in the blink of an eye when I playing it!

    Enjoy.

It all depends on the number of stars you get when you finish the puzzles. Its something like 20 stars = a new line. Not sure of the exact number though.

Youll find you get a lot better in a short time, especially once you start on the harder puzzles, and learn patterns. When you go back to the begginer ones youll be drawing them in one complete loop in seconds.

This game is stupidly hard... I think I'm missing something fundamental here... me and a bloke in the office just cant work it out! Puzzle 3...

Wait till you get further on in the game - I was a bee's dick away from smashing my DS to pieces last night because I did a whole 10x10 perfectly, only to discover ONE poxy little number was wrong. When this happens, you often have to redo huge chunks of the loop.

I usually end up restarting the whole puzzle if I messed up anyway, but thankfully that happens very rarely now...

    Yeah, that's what I do.

I think I'm on level 16 of the second set (still 10x10). I'm already dreading the 18x10s ...

I'm on number 20 of the 10x10s. Out of interest, how long have the two 10x10s you've done so far taken to complete?

18x10 if my memory serves me correct. There should be some this size in the second set at some point ...

For all of the (tiny! :p) 10x10s, I usually needed somewhere between 5 and 13 minutes, with the average being probably around 8-9mins.
Strangely enough, my times on the 18x10 are only slightly worse, so you do indeed get a lot better! \o/

Urm, well the first two took me two attempts each... probably a total of 25 minutes to do them both... the 3rd one I was lucky and finished it in about 10 minutes... 4th one is giving me jip now. I love the way I still question the game and say "A 3,1,3 combo?? That's not even possible... stupid game... how on Earth is anyone supposed.. ohhhh"

Ha, ha, ha, I know EXCATLY what you mean - I was staring at a combo the other night and I was convinced that it was IMPOSSIBLE to complete. Cue lots of swearing at my DS and then suddenly, I saw how to do it and felt like a bit of a twat.

Some of my 10x10 puzzles have taken me 25 minutes, others well under 10 minutes. However, now I average between 5 and 10 minutes per 10x10 puzzle.

Great game: infuriating and joyous in equal measure.
