The Beck Thread Page 5

  • Deleted user 10 February 2015 12:26:28
So Beck wins two Grammys for Morning Phase and Kanye West says that he should hand his award over to Beyonce for the sake of 'artistry'. Joke of the year, Kanye. Well done!

Edit - Speaking of Morning Phase, I think it might actually be my favourite Beck album. It's very nearly a 3-way tie between that, Sea Change and Mutations.

No one cares what Kanye thinks.
  • Deleted user 10 February 2015 12:36:36
Not even Kayne himself cares. He's too busy making history.
  • Deleted user 10 February 2015 12:38:35
I bet Sir Paul is regretting that collaboration now.

Is Kanye West related to Fred West?

Both descended from West, Jim West, Desperado. Rough Rider, yeah you don't want nada.

Seeing him tomorrow, bizarrely supporting The Strokes.

Is this one of my old threads? :D

Sounded brilliant, his sample work is second to none.

Video style reminds me of Proteus. Thankfully the former beats the latter by miles.

I like it but it does remind me of Get Schwifty from Rick and Morty with the random stuff being said during the song :)

Wow got a proper video. No album title yet despite the fact it's meant to be out in a few weeks...

Ah Beck, how can I love your music and despise the religion you were born into? There may be no compromise, and I think Modern Guilt will be the last time I give you my money :(

He's rarely ever spoke of his religion. He's certainly never promoted it. He seems like one of the nicest guys on the planet. Why would you let his religious beliefs get in the way of what you listen to?

Because his religion is not a religion it's a poisonous cult.
Beck is one of the most talented, creative musicians on the planet but I couldn't have been more disappointed when I realised he bought into that bullshit.

He was born into it, I believe. I have a personal dislike for all religion, but that isn't going to stop me from listening to good music.

If he came out a paedophile or something, that would bee a different story.

You can be born into anything and yet still have the nowse to question it though, especially when it's that insane.
Still love his music, even though I'm an evil SP.
