Since an internet search threw up as many contradictions as search matches, I'll as here if anyone's had any personal experience of fixing this sort of thing. I've been using my Medusa headphones and their amp for ages now and they've always responded to mobile signals by throwing out interference, but lately it's been happening a bit more than usual which is as likely due to people in other flats being on the phone more often as anything else. It's not hugely annoying since it tends to be very brief or very quiet - so much so that when I'm playing most games the audio drowns out any interference, but it's the sort of thing that if there's a really easy and quick fix then I'd like to get sorted. The interference tends to die away when I place my hand on the amp, which I suspect is more to do with grounding than insulating, and I don't have any bacofoil to muck with as suggested elsewhere. So, since I'm not sufficiently annoyed by it to spend money or any huge effort on the problem, are there any nice and simple Top Tips for solving this sort of thing? |
Mobile interference and amps...

It's a 5140, but I'm pretty certain it's not my phone since it spends most of its time switched off and on the other side of the flat. I'm certain it's the neighbours, since these London terrace conversions don't really block any kind of signal at all, and I've no idea what they use.

Silver foil might not be as expensive as you think
