That is a bit strange - I must have started my download about 11am and it was all finished by 1pm.
It sounds like I must have been lucky.
My initial impression of it is very positive. The hill climb is especially good, not so sure about the buggies at the minute it appears there is some dodgy collision detection - the wheels seem to be able to pass through each other on occasions (it could be me though).
Graphically very good - but the crashing is somewhat underwhelming as it seems to be only too keen to put you back on the track when you have a big smash or deviate too far off the track. Although you can quite easily get balanced on a barrier and it just leaves you - in which case you have to open the menu to be replaced, which is plain annoying. -

Registered 16 years agoJust had my first online race. You all race at the same time and who ever gets the fastest time wins. It's pretty fun seeing you name shoot up from 22nd to 5th when you pass a hard bend and all the n00bs pile off the side of the track. There weren't many options though, I just registered(which was suprisingly quick and easy) then it put me into a random hub. I had to wait for the race that was going on to finish. Then you vote for which track and car you want. Whatever wins you all go with and then you're off. I don't think you can do the all buggy races(with people on the track with you) in the demo, at least I couldn't. PC Demo btw. -

Registered 19 years agoIt's odd because I downloaded the Forza 2 demo at 6pm, when most people get home, on the day it was released in about 20 minutes. -

What specs you got? Everything at medium on mine and it ran fine. Very pretty. -
"Pressure? Pressure is for tyres not drivers" - if I hear this another time I will headbutt my telly.
Well it looks smashing, that's for sure but the handlings a bit easy going for a rally game I'm finding. Too easy to be honest, I don't feel like I'm going sideways enough and you hardly need the footbrake. Anyone agree?
And what's with all these people not being able to download it? Took me about 20mins. -

I agree, it's very easy, but as a casual gamer who's not a massive fan of racing games I like the handling. -
Try deleting the demo from the hard drive and restarting the download. According to major nelson that shold work.
Seems to be working for me as I'm at 7% in 3 minutes, lets see what happens.
