I believe the correct name was actually Little Mo. Get it right Pes for fuck's sake.

Not heard much about this. But I'm glad they got Rod Purlam back for it. Just wouldn't be the same without him.

I believe the correct phrase is "it's getting a cunting".

Wouldn't be surprised if it still did well at the box office like Venom, which showed any old shit with a comic book character will still pack out cinemas at the moment.

I really liked the other two but, really, who wanted a happy shopper reboot?

I didn't think the first two were that great and found the praise they got a bit odd.

That 2nd film is a boring mess.

Eesh, that's not great for Ron Perlman in his first proper headlining role.

The first films pacing is serverely off for me, it just builds up to a crappy monster fight and ends with a whimper iirc, good parts to it but itís never sat quite right due to the last act. Selma Blair seemed to keep parts of me interested though.
The second is much more of a silly romp and somewhat more entertaining for it I thought, although itís been a while since I saw them.

I enjoyed Venom even if it wasn't what I'd hoped for in a Venom movie. The Hellboy remake is gonna tank hard, reviews are poor and the original movies didn't exactly set the box office alight.

I wouldn't call myself overly knowledgeable on Hellboy (watched the first two films, and read a few comics), but is there no Abe Sapien in this new film? Doesn't really seem like a film without his comedic presence...

I forgot it was Neil Marshall. Seems like another director who had a few low budget hits, then tried to make a bigger film, and they've all pretty much tanked since.

Not surprised that the critics are giving this a shoeing; the trailers were enough to convince me it was going to be bad.

Also, to be a comicbook wanker for a second, the story this is based on wasn't one of the better ones, either; Mignola wrote a sort of Arthurian legend inspired story that didn't capture the spirit of English folktale, and it ended up descending into part Sword in the Stone, part Macbeth mess.

Sounds like another film with constant producer interference changing the director's vision
