I'm on T-Mobile and the reception's certainly much better than when I had the same phone on Vodafone. I'm in the northeast though. -

Yes because phones of that size don't sell do they. Apple are struggling to get rid of them in the US, expect huge price cuts soon.
I can't see why anyone except applemac fanboys would want that phone anyway, sure it looks good and the videos ive seen of it look pretty impressive.. But the damn thing is to big for day to day use as a phone ! -

Well, it's their fault for pricing it the same as a PS3 then, isn't it?
$600 for a phone, it's ridiculous. -

And then you get charged the same tariffs as if you'd got the phone free with the contract.

Why assume they'll use the same business model here? I've seen several comparisons on US sites stating that it ends up no more expensive than plenty of other smartphones.

Yes, I'm certainly hoping the British won't stand for that kind of thing. -

Registered 18 years agoDo O2 have a flat-rate data plan yet?
I'm on T-Mobile now, the tariff I'm on suits me best, but they traditionally have the poorest choice of handsets from the 5 main operators. I'd be surprised if Vodafone or O2 don't get it. -

Registered 20 years agoa bloke from O2 said at a conference recently that O2's network didn't have enough capacity for them to support a flat rate data tariff -
