We're only camping for 2 nights and it's camping field attached to a brewpub. Not really child friendly |

Registered 13 years agoThingy, it was all too real. I dare say it will be some time before he does another open Q&A.
So, tonight is the night. Danny Boyle says that whatever he does it will be impossible to please everyone. I reckon whatever he does he won't be able to please anyone on certain forums, experts the lot of 'em. -

Registered 15 years agoI'll be sure to tweet and post my opinions online as the event unfolds to let everyone know my feelings. I'm sure people will appreciate it as what I have to say is monumentally important.
Red Arrows flypast over London before the opening ceremony. Good call that is - the Red Arrows are the tits. -

Registered 13 years agoThat will be an excellent start to proceedings and if there are actual tits involved too, well, so much the better.
Now that the tedium of the football is done, we can get down to some proper Olympic sport. Bows of burning gold and arrows of desire, bring it on. I'm almost as giddy as when watching the winter Olympic brushing event! -

Registered 13 years agoNow if Boris had been selected for the footy, that would have made it worth watching!
I'm expecting big things of Boris over the next 17 days. -

Registered 13 years agoHeck of a start last night. Loved every second of that brilliantly bonkers show. If the events themselves are half as good, we're in for a cracking time.
Naturally it wasn't enough for some people. Even a cursory glance at some threads not a million miles away from here reveals a cesspit of wretched cullions, criticasters with all the imagination and creativity of three day old rotting faeces, unable to enjoy anything without dumping on it. How wonderfully British.
Let the Games begin! -

Registered 13 years agoOlympics trumps karting at the moment, can't get enough of it. At what other time does water polo become compelling or watching a load of toffs trotting around on a horse border on addiction?
Topical jokes are thin on the ground. Best of a poor bunch: did anyone let the Somali delegation know that sailing and shooting are separate events?
Athletics today. Jono, cast your browser over to Google Images, safe search off and the delightful Paraguayan javelin athlete Leryn Franco should be of interest. -

Registered 13 years agoMaybe. After the glory of the Olympics, everything's a bit rubbish this week. I need some spark, some inspiration, some reason to go on! Luckily, Ninty are about to invigorate me with their fresh, new interpretation of the 2D platformer, reinventing that age old genre with their unique, warped ideas that other developers couldn't dream up in a thousand lifetimes.
So, just walked in from a day I'd rather forget. No karting for me tonight

Registered 13 years agoIll eh? You haven't by any chance invested in a certain phoned in, lazy cash in job 2D platformer from a notable Japanese games company and instantly had a bad case of gout brought on by buyers remorse? -

Registered 13 years agoI'll be around for a race tomorrow. Summer holidays are done for another year, back into the routine. Will do 3DS or Wii. Or both.
Disclaimer: Might be away on another trip next week at short notice. Weather dependant. -

Registered 13 years agoArses, my 5:30am start yesterday played havoc with any notions of karting. We should do an MK7 session at some point, should be able to get a couple of races in before the battery dies or our hands cramp up. -

Registered 13 years agoThis kind of madness. You need to progress to a certain point in the game to open it up though. Hundreds of free levels, it's most un-Nintendo like behaviour. -

Registered 13 years agoDamn, I keep meaning to get Pullblox. Definitely my kind of puzzle game. Had so little play time the last 6 months. Thanks for reminding me of it though.
Oh, and yes to an MK7 session. At some point. -
A MK7 session is in order once JK pulls his finger out .gif)
Pullblox, I will have to get now. Have little time these days but I can play the game on the way to work.
