That's a strange double-post you did there, Velios, with half an hour and a few other posts in between. ;-)

    Cheers Velios.

I'll contact you if I renew my account.

Huggybear, who else is still playing? Anyone at all, apart from you and Zond? James, mingster, anyone?

Nope, they're gone. lightspeed jedi and Marcus Atillius were the last to go.

Ariel Acterus (not from Incom/M.corp, but she also posted in the Eve threads a few times) is still active but I haven't convoed here in a long time. Just have her in my address book.

Nemesis! looking for a Job? we have 4-5 Caldari in M.Corp - they are fearsome warriors (especially the one from Salford) and my comments above about Caldari were a mere reflection of the deep emotional scar that I bear in relation to a recent betrayal :S This will soon be patched up though - our targets are firmly set.

If you would like to join channel MCORP in-game then thats where you will find my corp members and I along with a host of affiliated pilots.

Cheers everyone, I'll give you a call!

Yes, the vid is a beaut. Best I've seen so far.

    /starts taunting

But what's with these new corps CA has recruited? Like Hell's Bandidos and Heartvenom?

We see them around B-vip and they can't fight for shit. Fed killed two of their Bships in a 1:2. Later Jarjar killed a Raven (whose other Raven we'd blown up not 24 hours earlier) and had 97% shields at the end of the fight.

I blew up a Rifter at the gate in B-vip9 and the can it left contained some 300 Rockets (haven't seen rockets since I hunted frigs, never used them, thought no one uses them) and 100mm armor plates. His friend in a Vigil dropped two warp disruptors so I guess they were actually trying to kill someone...

Oh and got two Zombie Scorpions today, so we're not in league with them (nyah nyah!), although CA now appears to have a NAP with them?

e02 has more Xetic/SA/Celes than CA at all times these days. You need to send the HLw blob up there to fight!

Amazing piece of work, Zond, you should make sure someone of CCP sees it!

Though I've only seen 2/3 because the bloody server doesn't seem to support resuming. Grrrrrrrr. Opera started at 0% after I interruted it at 70%.

Damn Huggybear, I know all these systems you mention in this and one of your earlier posts from the time I spent in the Great Wildlands. Till I had to leave because the CA bastards claimed the area.

    :-D

If you join M.corp you'll be one of those "CA bastards".

CA still claims the Great Wildlands but they're not doing much to enforce it at the moment.

Last night I went to e02 and there were three Stain Alliance Battleships camping the station. Now that is something I've not seen happen before.

    So.... what's the situation?

Have you made up your mind Lou?

    Have you joined M.corp Nem?

I have two lab slots in e02 if you're interested in buying them Velios.

And four Harvies, anyone want to buy those?

    Not yet Hugs.

I've got another day to get some Frigate skills to a decent level, then I need to get an Industrial skill and then will be able to nab something like a Badger.

The Imi I'm in is cool, but it's out of slots, out of CPU and out of power. Can't run 2 x Miner IIs, Microdrive and cargoexpanders with the damn thing. Makes mining a nightmare.

    Imicus? Never flown one...

But I do know that the Micro Auxiliary Power Core solves most frigate power issues, it adds +10 to powercore output (that's +10, not +10%).

Costs a hefty 100-150k though, and you need Energy Management 4 to fit it.

Jus' spent 300K on Cal' industrial skills so I can fly the Badger.

Now I need to mine another 300-400K to afford the ship.

    /groans

    Keep going Nem. Almost there.

I'll have to check Zond, but it's at the first school! Todaki is it?

Still. Anything below a .9 and I'm ambushed. It's a pain in the arse, so better to be safe.

Good pickings of Scordite which I'm making about 25K a run. Got a couple more runs to do until I've got the cash for the Badger so I'm almost there. Skills won't be trained until Midnight.

Light at the end of the tunnel at last!

    The Art of afk-Mining:

Hop into your fully insured Badger, strap on a mining laser.

Go to a belt at a 1.0 and start mining. Go out for few beers or go to bed. Return a few hours later, you'll have a full cargo hold of ore (good idea to carry an asteroid scanner though so you can see which roids have enough ore left).

Word of Warning: the only time I've been podded was when I had left my ship afk-mining and went out. They'll lose their ship too though if they attack you, so it's not very likely to happen.

As long as you use the cheapest equipment and get full insurance you really can't lose though.

    Ahhh!

Left it mining Veld all night and got a very nice 300K for my troubles!

Scordite is much nicer, I got 498K for the same kind of run. Asteroids are really small so it needs constant babysitting to get more targets and swap between (unless there's an autotarget system I'm missing).

Upgraded to the Badger2, which has 2 gun points......but only let's me use one. Fucker.

Zond, I got the pop-up, but I was already in bed by then!

Nah, it's just that the roids in popular 1.0 systems have been mined before. You migh try a less popular 1.0 instead.

Oh, Soames told me Theeta got evil ol' Nicholas Marshal in Unertek last week.... details?

Some Celest members popped a Curse Alliance Vexor last night, and got almost 38k Megacyte (worth maybe 260 million isk?) for their trouble. Who says killing baddies isn't profitable:-D
