Orange - from the gock of coats

I have investigated Orange's 'unlimited web access' product, and it turns out that unlimited was originally 30mb, but now has been raised to 100mb (I'm giddy) per month.

They do not allow things such as video, VOIP, etc either. So, all in all, not a great product.

My 18 month contract is due to expire in December, but I really want to jump ship now. What's the cheapest way of doing this? Can I just downgrade to the cheapest tarriff? Anyone?

You should be able to change your tariff. Call them up and ask init.

Well, it was 3 I was looking to go to. Terrible customer service though, as I recall.

And it hasn't changed. The call centres still lie to customers and trick you into all sorts of shit.

But at least I'll be able to watch pornography from my hotel room on my mobile.

You can do that now with a decent video converter. :))

Yes you can do this, not a great option but yes. Downgrade to the lowest tariff, then ask to pay off your contract early in one go.

Right, well I took the plunge and ordered a E65 with lots of texts and not many minutes with X-Series Gold (Skype ftw) from Three.

I look forward to many disconnections and customer service rants.
