Wow, Lara Flynn Boyle looks almost hot in that last one. Put some kilos on, and she'd be fit.

Does anyone have a link to the official release date on Series 2 on DVD? I've been gagging for this for years now. Damn legal rights.

I had heard that the whole series is being remastered - altho' that might have been a lie.

And LFB was sauce once up a time. Until she discovered the joy of starvation and regular vomiting.

There is no official release date! Repeat: No official release date!

It's just a release 'window', and that's next year.

Dammit! A window is no use to anyone* I want a date. A firm date.

    * Terry Waite may disagree.

Unbelievable. Exactly two years (to the day) after I made this thread, I am holding part 1 of season 2 in my hands.

Stupid decision to split it up, but it wasn't expensive.

@UncleLou - my potentially inferior mathematical prowess makes it 3 years since you made the thread ;-)

    D'Oh!

I am still living in 2006, mentally. :)

Peej: it's out in Germany now, no idea about the UK. Part 2 of season 2 will be published here in April.

    German box of 2.1 here

American set of all of season 2 due in April, same time as 2.2 available in Germany.

Im going to wait and see whats happening with the UK release, or will get the US set. No point in having half of S2 as when I watch one Twin Peaks, I have to watch them all.

Still great that they are finally coming.

I want this. I really want this. After settling down to watch Series 1 on DVD release, I'd forgotten the epic cliffhanger that is the last episode. Waiting three sodding years isn't funny.

    Just release it!

Damn. Am I confusing Series with Season? Bear in mind, I have a stinking cold and my brain isn't working proper :)

Same diff with Twin Peaks IIRC - I think it only aired as two massive series / seasons.

Either way, I jest - you should definitely watch Series 2 as it's just bliddy awesome and the totty count goes ballistic.

It was ace. I remember when it broadcast - it was the only programme on TV that my girlfriend and I would actually stay in - religiously - to watch. And Lara Flynn Boyle was aces at the time. This is obviously before she decided that food was a BadThing that should be avoided at all times...

Having watched the first 10 minutes of season 2, I realised I've forgotten pretty much everything.

A "previously on Twin Peaks, 200 years before we decided to finally release season 2" feature would have been rather nice.

    Previously, on Twin Peaks...

Laura Palmer dies, they try to figure out who did it, while drinking black coffee, eating cherry pie, and talking like insane people.

    I love it.

UncleLou, a very quick breakdown here should be a help refreshing the memory.

Though really you should watch them all again. I find its most enjoyed watching all of them over a space of about three weeks, doing a couple a night, with a few nights off.

Once your done watch FWWM and then read [link=http://www.glastonberrygrove.net/texts/lpdiary.html">The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer and then for a real treat

Cheers gamingdave, I actually read episode summaries now as I don't have series 1 here atm and couldn't wait.

And the brilliance of it all. Season 2 might not be quite as strong as season 1, but God, it's still great.
