    (Christmas presents)
Maybe PlayAsia, but remember Wiis are region locked. Better wait for it to come out here.

Well... that was pretty much it. Fit/Minger, eh? Eh?

    :/

I know one about Maddie and the Pope, though?

Must be one of those that requires you to have grown up with english as your main language, don't get that one at all!
What the heck is a Minger? Oh found an explanation. Ok I get it, but I think I killed it.

Anyone find the music combined with the hula dancing to be super creepy?

Not much help, but I've just seen that Declan bloke off BBC breakfast news having a go at Wii fit on TV. Looks alright - there's a hula hoop thing and jogging as expected. No mention of when it's out in the UK though :(

Yeah, I caught the tail end of the report on BBC Breakfast news. That Yarnton bloke from Nintendo was on too.

TBH, I can't say Wii Fit appeals to me in the same way Wii Sports did about a year ago. Regular Brain Training on the train to work is okay, but I haven't checked my Fitness age in, well, ages and I can't really imagine wanting to get another massive peripheral out every time I want to exercise...

It was quite amusing to see YArton waxing lyrical about a fitness game. The man is clearly super unfit.

I think it looks like great fun, ski jumping looks tremendous!

PS. The peripheral isn't exactly massive. More like, well, small.

I'd buy it if I didn't need a Wii for it.

    Like a straight-to-TV jobbie.

Will it be like £70 quid or something?

That would be a rip off.

I thought I saw something saying it would be going for €35, so I'm thinking £25.

I'd be very surprised if it was that cheap. If it is, it's going to sell like hot cakes.

Yes, usually get games before release date. No issues with them so far.

Once the morning TV shows/mainstream press get in on the act it'll appeal to so many markets:

    Skateboarding/shooting games: Gamers
    Exercise/keep fit: Mums/Golden oldies/fat gamers (me)
    Sports/Party Games: Everyone

All they need to do is push out a few 'must have' titles, ala Wii Sports, and it'll be mammoth.

How do you get the games before release date? I saw that Forever Blue is GBP 17.99 on there - is that the price they'll sell it for or will they hike it up when they find out that the rrp is actually GBP 39.99?

I think they just send the games out as soon as they get them in stock, I got Super Paper mario, 3 days before release date this year, and RE:4 one or two days early.

I would expect they will bump up the price on Forever Blue if they have cocked up on the RRP, in fact, I can't see it on their website anymore.

Aye, it's going to be massive and will cement the Wii as the mainstream console of choice.

Personally I think this is looking good fun in a Singstar way. I can imagine excellent drunken japes as mates try the header game and the like.

Now if they release Avalanche 1080/Skate style games that take advantage of this it could really fly with the hardcore too.

I really hope they do. And even if not I really want a new 1080 game. Loved it on the N64 and even more on the cube (in fact I think it's the only cube sequel to a N64 that is actually better than the N64 game).
