| I guess eventually. I was just wondering if there was anyway of unlocking stuff. I can't find a guide anywhere. I think I'm missing the whole point of Wii Fit aren't I? |

Registered 16 years agoI thought I'd opt for the female trainer, thought her voice would be more soothing (like the female SatNav voices), what I wasn't expecting is how weird the shape and position of her breasts are, most off-putting! -

Registered 14 years agoThis game/concept is so cool. The playfulness and seriousness are quite perfectly balanced I think. Anyone else hope that this is going to be HUUUUGE around the world? Although I guess it already is...Really addictive way to get yourself in a better shape. -

Registered 16 years agoWhat this is really missing is some structure to the routine. I want it to present me with a variety of canned programs that make me go through certain bits and which offer varying types of workout accordingly. Or even the ability to make and save your own types of workout routines built from the activities available.
It's all nicely done, but it does feel a bit staccato: "Right, done that one - what next, err maybe this? No, this - hmm, don't fancy that". So you don't really get into much of a rhythm. -

I guess the Favourites will become that if you do the same set of activities regularly (it stores 10 most used I think?). Not really the same as a personal trainer, I know, but at least a quick way to get the the most used set of exercises. -

Registered 14 years agoI've gotten into a habit of warming up with the aerobic section (steps, jogging, hoola hoops), then a bit of yoga, then alternating between workout and yoga, and ending with the balance section and the test. -

Registered 16 years agoPopped into town earlier and there were quite a few Wii Fits still available, although a few shops had sold out. Surprisingly the stores that were sold out were not the shops I'd have expected to be and not the shops you'd usual go to a get a game. -
It made my wii into a fatty... 0/10 worse than halo etc..
other than that, It's really rather good. Wasn't expecting the little balance board to become a character

Yeah - I'd agree with that. I thought that it'd have excerise programmes for you based on what you told it you wanted to achieve. You say you'd like to lose 3lb's within 1 month and it works out a fitness plan for you to stick to daily etc. -
Just managed to get a cracking score on the Ski Jump. 329m! I'm well chuffed

Registered 15 years agohow're folk doing at this?
I've unlocked all the balance games, apart from the last one- not quite sure what to do to open that one.
and i think i have two aerobics ones to open. I enjoy the boxing one, althouh I can't seem to get more than 2 stars on it- not sure what I'm doing wrong. Not punching hard enough? timing not perfect?
and something i found on the jogging on the hardest level - the island run- you can overtake your trainer chap when a dog goes rushing past, and then follow the dog instead. and then even follow another dog (or two?). Have only played it the once, and thought it was normal, but then saw a friend do the level normally, and run to a different area than i did. Not sure if my way was shorter or longer or what. -

Registered 16 years agoI was going to get shot of mine at CEX today, but I can't find the item on their system at all. I know I'll probably only get about £45 trade from Gamestation and I'm betting that CEX's value would be a lot higher than that. -

Why? You can't have had it for more than a few days? Can't you just take it back?

Look on page 26 of the manual. It shows you a map of the run routes and the symbols to look out for as you run. -

nope, me too. Did some "jackknives" last night and have sore stomach. Also shins hurting from too much jogging on the spot in bare feet -

Ditto the Jackknives, hope it's just from never having done exercise like that.
My upper body fitness is pants, my leg muscles are decent enough and I can walk over 2 miles up and down hills in 45 minutes, but my upper body has never had any attention, until now. -

Registered 15 years agoCompletely agree about the missing training program aspect of this. Particularly given the titles target market of the weeny bit exercise challenged. It appears to be analysing you and comments on what you're good and bad at- why doesn't it then go on to suggest a program or two to help you improve in those areas? -

Erm . . . . It does in Yoga at least. Said I was weak at something and doing more of the exercises that stretch my right side will help.
