Yeah, wait til Christmas, then get an iPhone on O2, and then pay about 70 quid a month in data charges for just checking your mail once every weekend.
Top drawer idea, that man! -

Registered 18 years agoI don't want an iphone.. o2 offer no good data bundles and I'm not waiting for the iphone to get one. SE P1 has a decent camera with autofocus, it's 3g, has wifi, has a touch screen but also a qwerty and its pretty much the same size as a feature phone, not a smartphone. the iphone is not the be all and end all of phones, it's a fairly basic phone with a snazzy interface -

Registered 18 years agoThe Sony Ericsson series of 'power' phones has a significant amont of downloadable applications for it too. You can't play Doom on an iphone, for example, nor can you upgrade the memory, or get decent transfer speeds on 3G.
It's a different phone, for a different user. -

Registered 18 years agomain reason for getting a SE P1i?
128mb ram
that tops it over the N95 or pretty much anything else bar the Nokia E90 due to that bringing stability with it! -

Registered 18 years agoHmm, didn't know it had that much.
I know a few of the new Windows Mobile phones are getting 128MB in (like the Toshiba G900, which no network seems to be carrying) but if WM5 is anything to go by, it will still be slow as hell!
Hmm, with 128MB, you could probably do solid NeoGeo emulation... -

Registered 18 years agoThat's a massive shame. 800x480 widescreen sounded good, and my friends have had nothing but good experiences with Toshiba phones in Japan. Coupled with my positive experience with a Sharp WM5 phone, I thought it'd have been a lock.
I think it'll be a N95 for me, as I'm not too sure about that keypad. Though anyone with a similar device can feel free to correct me and say how awesome it is. Also, will it have a good VOIP app? The touchscreen is a big point in its favour too. -

are you asking about the p1 or n95 here, because the n95 has no touch screen...your wording's a bit confusing!
