Registered 13 years agoA bit under 12% here, which is pretty much as expected from eyeballing it. Might see if I can drop to 10% -

Registered 13 years agoI have no idea how low I've gone as I wasn't using machines to check at the time. At race weight I was 58kg at 176cm. -

Registered 13 years agoThat’s pretty light. Currently as low as I want to go, hover around 68kg and 182cm. Heaviest I’ve ever been is about 75kg -

I hit the heady heights of 115kgs, although I was hooker at club level.

My gym doesn't even have flushing toilets, just buckets and heavy rocks. -

Yeah, I'm never going back there again. Current plan is to aim for about 64kg with a decent chunk more muscle / power. Should make me faster on the flats.

Registered 14 years agoFinally managed to get some swimming in. I was really worried about my shoulder but it didn't hurt too much after. I can't do crawl yet but hopefully I'll be able to build up slow to be able to do that. Had to stick with breast stroke and it took a little time for my shoulder to get used to it. I was also able to do certain arm movements under the water which I just can't do normally.
Got my PT session at 3pm today and another one booked in for Friday. I do look forward to these but I\m going to be totally fucked afterwards. -

Registered 11 years agoI've booked myself to do a half marathon in October. I'm basically starting from scratch as I've started running, albeit on a treadmill, from the end of June.
I'm a fat cunt (was 127kg in January and am currently 113kg). I am now running at least 3 times a week doing 5k.
Am using the Nike Running App to get me ready. It's very good. -

That's a tough ask but doable if you pack in the miles and crosstrain. -

Registered 7 years ago@Jono62 make sure you stretch as well, your ITB is ripe for giving you hell if you don't where you are ramping up so fast. It's a nightmare if you aggravate it as well and it will bugger up your progress. -

Registered 11 years agoCheers all for the tips. I did start slowly and have started ramping it up recently. It was a bit of a shock to start. The nike app has recommended a good schedule to get me race ready. -

Registered 8 years agoRight, week 4 of going the gym twice a week and focusing on upper body. 5x 10 reps of whatever the fuck I can handle doing 50 of. Making some improvements week on week so far.
Need to build s third session in, but it's fucking tough with a family.
Here's the thing though - I'm ravenous all the time. I was scrawny, but not particularly pudgy; I've developed a proper gut because I'm eating way more.
So I figure I probably need to add cardio in, and eat better. Fucking complicated, I just wanna get hench. -
