    I think next time I do this though I'll time it so day 2 (the worst) doesn't fall on the day and night of a double shift

    I'm not man enough to trane through rib injuries. Fortunately I've only had them from the one time I was stupid enough to use the leg press machine (those things are fucking widow makers)

    Surely if you donít eat for a week youíll just keep passing out?

    When your body is good at handling its insulin levels then you can do fasting just fine without worrying about hypoglycaemia etc.

    I personally wouldn't do a week though.

    It's not something I'd recommend anyone to do, nobody needs to be as anally retentive about nutrition as I am and that's how I feel prepared enough to do it. And the reason for doing it is to have a bit of a systems reboot in terms of metabolism and digestion

    So I've not played cricket extensively, mainly because I don't understand the Vera Duckworth method and all the other silly nonsense which shouldn't be a factor if the game didn't take a week to play BUT my recollection is of an outfield of mainly portly men who had to drop either their pint or their cigarette in order to catch a ball

    And just for reference on the fasting thing, I'm not sure outside of medicine but the record I'm aware of is just over a year of eating and drinking no calories at all.

    So I'll be fine to last until Sunday

    Don't think i had enough calories left today to eat the whole orange i was given for free so sucked some of the juice out and threw the bulk of it in the bin.

    You know your life has gone to shit when you reach this type of low.

    Lost 1.5lbs this week. Not much but given Iíve been out three times this week I guess itís not too bad. Especially as I ate my body weight in calories at Lahore on Tuesday :-)
