Fuckin hell I had lost a stone between August and November last year and put it all back on. Need to get on it big time.

I did a couple of sessions on fitness boxing this afternoon and I'll be back to the works gym on my return tomorrow.

Trained at 6am this morning. 1st workout of any description in about a year, and maybe tenth one in last five years. Its on baby.

    Warm up then
    2 x flat Bench
    2 x delt press
    2 x deadlift
    2 x triceps French press
    2 x curls.

    ;)

I went for a run as it isn't raining. I'm lighter than I have been in years as I'm not doing so many weights sessions and I can REALLY tell. Cardio is (obviously) better too

Lol, calf raises. Calves are pretty much the hardest thing to fight your genes - you get what's given. Fortunately, my calves are genetically terrific, the best calves actually, everybody agrees

My calves are practically fucking flat. Despite 20+ years of running, rowing & cycling.

It's mildly annoying. I had hoped for meaty cyclist calves by now, but nope. 😀

    @Vortex808

I think fontgeek is right mate. My calves are fecking great (truly) when I was in my pomp as a body builder they were my best muscle group.
...that said I would have rather it been my Pecs or GUNZZZZ ;)

If you think about it, you do 'calf raises' every time you walk around, two sets of ten with a few extra kilos once a week ain't gonna do shit

I too have been blessed with well shaped calves with no bundles of varicose veins. My legs are generally of the sculpted from marble look to be honest. I canít gain for shit up top though, my size is just my size no matter what Iíve tried doing. Iím lucky Iím just ripped by nature

My dad had those. I'm sure I'm of an age now where he had them, fortunately no sign yet. Inherited his frankly ridiculous shoulders and hair island though, the prick

It's every bit a long commercial con as the rest of them fruity.

You know what is good for you and what isn't. Make smarter choices at the supermarket, and stop giving these people money simply to reduce WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW into a points system

I seem to have gained 3.5kg over a two week Christmas period.

    Back onto the diet then.

A quick Google into pounds says around 7. Same amount that I put on as well. Half a stone is so much! How on earth?!

I think itís about 3500 calories for a pound. So over two weeks thatís an extra 1750 calories a day for 7lbs gain.

Easily done if you are eating chocolate, sweets, cake, beer, sweet mixers, extra meals etc.

It's a combination of eating larger meals, eating more chocolates and snacks, drinking too many white Russians and Irish coffees (in addition to the usual beer), and at the same time very inactive, I normally walk around a lot but I spent a week where I barely left the house...

Even so, it's more than I expected. Technically I'm still in the "healthy" BMI range, at least.
