    I've got what I think is bicipital tendonitis, it's a fucking annoying. I'm so weak! I tried a dumbbell chest press and I literally couldn't do one rep of a weight I'd usually smash out 12 reps on. Just need to rest I think. Or rather, now every day is leg day :(

    Yeah, definitely see a physio. They'll give you exercises to strengthen the problem area. And do them ffs, I have weak as piss ankles due mostly to my gait and didn't address it in my 20s when I should have done

    Edit: that's a new one on me Pete! Know what you mean though, my shoulder is weak as fuck, I feel like I have the strength of an 80 year old man on that side

    It's either that or the rotator cuff tendon. I know I shouldn't google these things.

    I did my rotator cuff years and years ago, left it until I couldn't lift a jug of milk. Get it looked at Pete x

    Quick test for rotator cuff.... Stand up straight and Position your arm with the forearm at 90 degrees and try to rotate the forearm out against something (a wall or something) and see how much resistance there is. You should feel if there's any strength there.

    A “jog” the treadmill, TRX / sex swing, Swiss ball, kettle bell. It’s all at like 5% effort though. I dread to think what it costs the taxpayer per calorie burned. She has about 10 security in and around the building

    The garage gym is not happening for a while yet (garage is still full of shit and I’m still unsure about levelling it) so I decided to look around for gyms close to home. 6am workouts are the only way I’m going to fit anything in my day it seems. There’s a “CrossFit” (I had to google this shit) gym that’s closest but costs (what seems to me) a ludicrous £75 a month. I was tempted but decided to go for a cheap and cheerful £12 a month meathead gym where every machine uses plates and they have Atlas stones...

    Did my first workout last night and I’m sore as fuck now. Enjoyed it though and looking to keep it up. Could do with shifting some of this weight and gaining some muscle back. Wish me luck!

    First 6am session this morning - woke up at 5:45am and was just about to say "fuck it" and pull the covers back over me but then my wife was a real bitch and said "I'm proud of you (for getting up and taking care of yourself)". Sigh. Hope to keep this up. Feels good!
