Unless you're Augustus Gloop there's absolutely no reason to be eating chocolate for breakfast. Especially if you're trying to lose weight.

I thought poached chicken breast was taking it too far but now you're advocating crucifixion for weight loss?

It's actually not a bad idea. You can't visit the frozen pudding wagon if you're nailed to a piece of wood.

Is a sponge dipped in water on the end of a spear a good breakfast?

I've invented a new bagel: Cinnamon and Raisin Bagel, toasted, spread lightly with chunky peanut butter on one side, then chili pickle smeared on top with a topping of cucumber.

    Cucumber on the side.

    Cum.

I'm at the depressing stage of my training / diet when I realise that I have to plan cheat days / breaks in advance. I was thinking about how I'd handle a holiday that I've got coming up that's a couple of weeks before one of the races I'm training for this year.

Obviously I want to enjoy my time off, so I tend to try and make the week or so before a bit more strict so I don't have to try and scrub the weight off afterwards (training at a super heavy deficit is a good way to fail the session).

It's no wonder so many cycling pros end up with eating disorders.

(and yes, it sounds like no way to live, but I accept that I'm inflicting this on myself because I love doing events)

Dipped in apple cider vinegar or gtfo.

Or buttered coffee, it's your choice.

The biggest shock for me is that anyone actually eats choc chip weetabix- they look horrible!
A couple of years ago I was at a small gathering round a friend's house one evening. Their weird housemate came home at around 10pm, much later than usual after working his Saturday shift, and explained that he'd been in A&E for the last two hours with stomach cramps. A few eyebrows were raised at this hypochondriac behaviour, but we let him continue his explanation incase it was something a bit more serious.

When a doctor finally saw him and listened to his symptoms they concluded it was most likely a case of constipation, and they need to eat a bit more fibre, like cereals to get their bowels going. So what does a man in their late twenties, who thinks a dickie tummy is cause to visit A&E, choose as their means of getting more fibre? Choc Chip Weetabix.
Chocolate chip Weetabix are high in fibre. So...
So are other cereals that aren't incredibly childish. Like normal Weetabix.

@minky-kong Really? A few wee chocolate chips transforms Weetabix from a mature cereal to a childish one. Jesus wept. You must be some fun.

His fun pass times include, climbing the stairs without getting out of breath, enjoying a sweat free undercarriage and being able to walk without chafing.

On the stomach cramps thing... I got them so bad from eating a chilli once that I thought I was going to die. Probably the second worst pain I've ever felt.

I didn't go to the hospital / call an ambulance... but I definitely would have loved someone to work out a way of helping me. lol

Which could also help with constipation if he got enough of it. He’d be shitting up the walls.

Oh man there is a shop near me that sells awesome donuts. But they are probably about 600 calories each minimum, so i've only ever shared one with the mrs.
