    You can absolutely weigh yourself every day, but the point is you shouldn't put to much weight (ha!) in the day to day fluctuations. Use the data to observe a trend.

    Weighing yourself once a week doesn't change much. In fact it arguably puts even more emphasis on individual readings which can still be affected by water and needing a massive shit etc.

    That would just make it harder to be lighter weight next time though.

    Eventually you'd need to be taking diuretics and laxatives to get to your target weight!

    Honestly, first time back I wouldn't do more than half what you used to do. Even with that you're likely to end up spending days in agony.

    i went easy on the weight but did lots of reps (still less than I would have usually done). I'll probably be able to use stairs again by the weekend.

    Ordered some shiny new fractional plates. Old ones were starting to chip paint everywhere, so I've gone full chrome this time.

    I bet they rust in about 12 seconds.

    I donít think Iíll be back in the gym for awhile yet but running, yoga and bouldering should help get me some functional fitness back.

    I really want to play football again but getting up close and personal with panting strangers on the opposition down power league feels a bit too Covid-y to start just yet

    Outside my gym this morning theyíd put an open sided tent in the car park and some mad fuckers were doing a HIIT class. At 6:30am in the snow.

    Iíve lost 3 and half stone in 8 months. Not the best progress but mental side of weight loss is the part I struggle with. You can fuck up and entire week of progress in one meal. Iíve taken it off slowly but am keeping it off. I have not used any fad diets or anything just making better choices in what I eat and doing regular consistent exercise.

    Iím happy with my progress still a fat fucker though at 13 stone. Started introducing some HIT routines at intervals in my runs. The goal is to hit 12 and a half by mid may.

    Unreal progress and keeping it slow and steady will probably be more successful than any crash diet
