@DaM I had similar, which apparently can happen with migraines. The specialist told me of a tale like yours where a guy lost vision, couldn't speak and had a lopsided face. All cleared up but looked for all the world like a stroke. I had a fair few stroke like symptoms (weakness down one side, screwed vision etc) but the scan yesterday showed that it was likely a migraine, but I'm very happy it wasn't. I also discovered my earlier scan (last year) where I was told "I had an excess amount of white matter" (damage to the brain from bleeds) was not correct and the amount I have is about normal for my age (1 / decade or slightly higher for people with migraines).

Anyway, I'm chuffed and its made me really appreciate life.

Daytime driving in Bangkok is starting to become semi-automatic.

Feels like cracking dancing ballet to jazz... Somewhere amongst the chaos there is a pattern that means you start to instinctively know before something crazy is going to happen.

In other news, Eva Green's too boobly to advertise Sin City 2.

I'll just leave this here to save you the hassle of clicking through.

    Boobly.

    Nice :-)

I booked tickets to Clannad in October last night. Pretty chuffed as I've front row seats... Though I've no idea how they sound these days...

Managed to finally get my 'office'/man cave the way I want it. Have gotten rid of tons of stuff in the last couple of years...books, games, movies, clothes etc. The less stuff I own the happier I seem to get. I even don't really enjoy buying 'stuff' anymore.

Golly. Got two letters through the post this morning.

One was a 500 pound tax rebate. Which is weird as I am a payroll manager and pay my own salary so I have no idea why I got this cheque as I know my tax was right but gift house and all that.

The other wasa letter telling me i can go pick up my cpap machine in two weeks which I have been waiting for for over a year. Considering the Ryan Davis news it has been weighing on my mind so that makes me very happy.

Just saw an old gent in a flat cap driving a Robin Reliant (a nice chick pea yellow colour). Haven't seen one of those in years! Don't know why, but it made me happy!

Managed to get a parking space on the ground floor of the multistory car park that both the public and people at my work use, and I just had to tell someone!

Usually I have to follow some idiot that goes 3mph the whole way and it takes 15 minutes to finally get to a space (especially at this time of year when everyone is starting to do their Christmas shopping).

Easily as exciting, if not more, as a honeymoon.
