I just bought series 2-4 (1 and 5 were sold out) for a friends birthday, and having never watched it before this thread has me interested... but they're shrink wrapped! :'(

Fair play, but if you do have a spare �6 knocking around, make sure you snap up series 1 - it's excellent.

I don't really know why it's rated 18, by the way, it's not worse than the other series in terms of content.

the yanks made their own version (written by someone else) and got rid of the first person camera and monologues... the pilot show flopped so they gave it up. then the curb your enthusiasm writer/director said he'd do it, but changed his mind, and now its the British dudes...
