I think it was a very drunk mapster to be honest.....from memory he enjoyed a drink.

When sober he was ok, so I am guessing alcohol played a part, and we all do things we shouldn't when drunk.

Also if it's so easy to discern that it's Mapster posting as those socks and abusing people, why does his original account still exist? Why hasn't that been banned too, if he's been shown so clearly to be an unwanted member of the forum?

Life's too short for holding grudges like that. Ignore it, and let him come back an apologize or whatever if he feels like it.

If he's having a bad period of his life hopefully someone in the 'real world' will help him out.. - otherwise, if you're truly concerned why not try to contact him via PM's?
