|Thanks I'll get on that. Can I dl it to different devices do you know? I use music on my phone the most but would be good on the laptop to burn to a cd.|

Think i must have seen Metallica five or six times. Always good value for money. Saw them at 02 last year and they were a bit iffy, i think i prefer them in a festival setting where the atmosphere is good fun (except for maybe at download when they were last there, the first time i seen them where it was rowdy), a few beers down you and you can just have a good time and ignore some of mistakes (i'm not one to notice them to be honest). Though Moth was fucking epic.
Anyway, been listening to the Ghaals Wyrd album over the last couple of days. Its fucking great. Think i'm booking Damnation tickets on friday and they're on the bill. Stoked!
You just get a folder of MP3s. I put mine in iTunes and on my iPod so presumably you can move them around

Couldnt resist and genuinely dont know whether it is the best or stupidest £50 I have spent.
I suspect will be amazing.

Gojira on Sunday, should be good...
Although I think I've seen them three times already since Magma came out. Time for a new album guys!

So, did anyone else manage to catch Gojira on this mini-tour?
Got to say the Brixton show was epic, definitely up there with the best live shows I've seen in my life. The whole place was packed and buzzing.
It was like a full-on festival main-stage headliner crammed onto the Brixton stage, with a massive screen behind them, pyro and smoke and crazy lighting. Unfortunately the lighting screwed up half way through due to a beer being spilt (or possibly thrown) onto the equipment, which understandably really pissed them off having put so much work into the show.
However it didn't dampen things - the only thing that did very slightly was the mysterious absence of The Heaviest Matter of the Universe from an otherwise incredible setlist.
Definitely feels like they could pull off an arena next time. Was really surprised when they "only" did Brixton.
Relapse booted a band for thanking a Holocaust denier this week. Well done Relapse.

Speaking of abhorrent viewpoints, David from Vektor put out his statement on the claims he abused his wife by saying the only person to blame is his wife. Claiming it was bad for the both of them, it's a typical narcissistic post where everyone was to blame but himself saying "Its not about me, it's about the music and the art".
Well you could read it for yourself but it wasnt long after posting his statement that he not only deleted the statement but the Vektor facebook page. Anyone that wasnt the most deranged fanboy was tearing him to shreds about it. He put out a post beforehand that simply said 'People suck. Goodbye.' as if he was surprised everyone didnt forgive him. Perhaps that is truly the last we will see of Vektor now.
Real shame, Vektor were musically incredible.
For fans of death metal with a groove, dark souls/Bloodborne themes and singing drummers, Tomb Mold are putting out a new album tomorrow.
Oh yeah and their last album was maybe the best death metal of 2018.
Yeah Tomb Mold are great.
Also check out Soulmass for some Doom/Death Dark Souls metal.

I've not heard of Tomb Mold - Amazon appear to have three preview tracks from the new album, so giving it a listen now. Very old school death metal is my first impression.

Will check Tomb Mold out, sounds good. In a different vein there's a new Sabaton out tomorrow as well.

Documentary from inside 10 Downing Street today
Had a weird moment and bought tickets for Rammstein in Cardiff next year on an impulse.
There's a new Mgla album coming.
Admittedly it's a bit harder to look forward to since it became apparent they were probably a bit fash.
But I'll probably get it anyway because frankly there's no other BM band I like as much, and their songs have been free of fash wankery (as far as I can tell, anyway.)
Not seen any 180fps gig footage before but this popped up on my YouTube feed and is fucking great.
Slipknot leaked and it is good.
This new Devourment material took me by surprise.
It's some of the nastiest, downright filth I have ever heard.
New Blut Aus Nord out in October. The blurb does not sound promising...
Chilling out tonight, drinking wine and listening to The Constellatory Practice very fucking loud indeed.
Remarkable stuff. Urfaust are totally unique and this is a truly exceptional album.

Listening to Around the Fur for the first time in a while. Chino Moreno really can scream.
New Tool track up for those interested:
(I've always had a soft spot for Tool; most of it's full but every now and then they really nail it)
Mate of mine is in a band called Amulet, nwobhm style from London. Last album was on Century Media and they've just put out a new one on Dissonance along with a new vocalist.
Anyway I'm loving their new single which has an awesome video, "Roundhead" - Amulet
My mate is Nippy, lead guitarist with the yellow Ibanez. He had the exact same guitar at school in various Death Metal and Hardcore bands.
@GoatApocalypse cheers i'll give it a listen, there's just something about the vibe of this new Devourment that makes it feel a bit nastier than most DM, not nastier as just pure fast, just an overall vibe of murk.
This is good thrash. Pay what you like as well.

The new Tool album...
"According to an official description of Fear Inoculum, the limited edition CD “includes a CD in a tri-fold Soft Pack Video Brochure featuring a 4" HD rechargeable screen with exclusive video footage, a USB charging cable, a 2 watt speaker and a 36 page insert book and MP3 download card.”"
I realise this forum isn't the place for pop metal, but I have to admit I quite like this new Slipknot record.
Considering as a sixth form snob I fancied myself too old for Slipknot when they first came out I've got a big soft spot for them these days
Yet to top that third album for me but digging what I've heard so far
