I don't see why DivX cannot sit with a download service. TBH, I'd think the most likely reason DivX would appear on the 360 was so that MS could use it to shrink to the size of video files available to customers. Go for the slightly cheaper Divx one and wait a fifth of the time and use a fifth of MS' bandwidth.

That's good news... means MS will probably get around to it as well. I wouldn't hold my breath however on when consumers will actually see it on a PS3.

In that case the xbox 360 will end the film industry.

Basically every video device supports it, the industry is still here. I have a HDD recorder that streams (HD)divx from my pc and I still buy dvd's.

Friends of friends lists will become active and be set by default in the December 4th dashboard update. Not much more about the update though.

Get yourself the latest Winamp then... Or more precisely the Winamp Remote program that comes with it.

    Hint hint.

Well, assuming you've configured it all on the PC. Then go to the video option on your 360, then select computer and you should see Orb listed along with your Orb username.

If there's one thing the dashboard isn't, it's bloated.

I can see how this would be helpful, there are a few times when it's been "who has such-and-such on their friendslist?" so this'd make it easier to invite people quickly, or add people.

/Is going to have to prune his list again
