Bolt got an awful start. Coleman should have won that.

He may have won, but a cheat will always be a cheat.

Double drugs cheat wins a gold medal aged 35. Yeah, I bet it's legit.

Not a bump for that lunge Bowie made over the line in the women's 100m final, which sent her stumbling then crashing into the track?

You can just see the start of the tumble here, but I've not been able to find a complete shot of it:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/athletics/40846074

She does appear to have cut herself in the tumble though. Talk about bloodsports.

I felt really sorry for Tu Lou(sp?), who would have won if she'd just dipped at the end. The winner practically dived forward, all the replays I've seen have only shown her stumbling and looking reasonably under control and have cut before she took the massive header after crossing the line though.

    Looked a sore one.

Not been a great world championships, but there has been lots of drama. Sad about how it ended for Bolt.

Yep, brilliant from britain, but truly sad that Bolt got injured on his last ever race. :(

That had everything in 35 seconds, USA villains, Jamaica tragedy and a GB win on the line!

    Gutted for Bolt.

For once I actually chose the right session to go and watch. Shame about Mo but the atmosphere for those two relays was great.

Posted above something something about the ashes, read the A at beginning and S at end and thought it was an ashes thread. Eyes tired staying up to watch first ball.

The Cas have rejected Caster Semenya's complaint about the IAAF's regulations on testosterone levels for competing. I am appalled. Horrific decision.

I don't really know them that well, they're in a different sub team. Plus I'm rarely in the office so miss lots.

OK, I knew they were competing bit not until about 3 weeks ago
