Don't take this the wrong way... but is there a lot of sarcasm in here or are some of you really getting this excited about the potential of a new MP3 player? =D

We are literally foaming at the gash. My gusset is dripping and not with sarcasm or irony but with keynote love juice.

I bet he's going to be sporting some lovely crocs for us.

    It's all about the Steve.

    I'm pretty excited.

I can't wait to see if, like the new iMacs, they've hardly done anything that different to the last iPod, or even put out a design a lot of people don't like as much as the last one.

I just appreciate the craftsmanship and care Apple put in their new projects and the well paced and often exciting conferences.

As far as I am concerned, no other company bring forth the bundle of enthusiasm and expectations that Apple does and most of the time, they deliver the goods.

5 minutes until the dawn of a new era.

    YAY!

Could you be disappointed? Not this time, but I mean ever... or does the hype just kinda wash over the product, no matter what it is?

We already know for 100% certain at least one of the iPod redesigns is a stubby one - there's an official poster in the foyer of the hall advertising it!

If that's the 'big' iPod announcement teeth will gnash and stock prices will fall.

I can't wait for the show to go online at Apple so I can count the BOOMs, the 'Pretty cool huh?'s, the 'Wouldn't it be cool if..."s and the 'It's been huge's.

    :)

Yes, the last revision of the iMac was boring really.

Apple and disappointment do not go together.

Yes, the new Mac conference was received with less fanfare than I expected but the new Mac itself is a wonderful machine so I wasn't complaining.

This event however should be great!

    ONE MINUTE!!

Starting with iTunes - good. At least he learned from last time, get the boring software updates done with FIRST.
