I'm more creeped out with how messenger lets people call you, with no way of blocking them.

Prefer work colleagues contact me through messenger rather than give my number

The messenger app is even more resource hungry than the Facebook app. Performance on both my Androids improved massively once uninstalled. Of course, they are slowly phasing out being able to read private messages on mobile...

@Dougs my phone browser version won't let me read any DMs I've been sent. Just bounces me out straight to the Play Store. Fuckers.
If you install the adblock browser, it still lets you read your messages without redirecting you to the play store.

I uninstalled the Messenger app (Android) over a year ago because it was so invasive UI-wise and, worst of all, battery hungry.

I now just use Facebook in browser if I have to. What's truly awful is that Facebook has disabled messaging on the mobile version of the site, insisting you to download the Messenger app instead.

Has anyone else had FB request a photograph before having their account disabled for 72 hours due to "suspicious activity" after renewing an item on the marketplace? I assumed that it was because I had put enriched uranium up for sale, but there's a hashtag on Twitter so it seems that a fair few folks are finding Facebook at fault for this fiasco.

I've only just realised that you have opt in to Facebook deleting your profile after you die.

    They want your data forever.

Trailer Trash is now Facebook going on about her new "Prince Charming".

4 kids, 4 different dads. She aborted the last one with her previous boyfriend. I'm awaiting the day she announced her next pregnancy.

Gos knows what's going on with her. She is sensationally fit, still in her mid 20s(?) so she has no problems getting guys whatsoever.

Just seems as though they'll tell her anything to get into her pants and when they do, babies come popping out and they leg it!

Anyone heard of this shit where Facebook demands a marriage certificate to allow a newly married woman to change her name? Unbelievable.

You'll have to show your knob to the toilet attendant next get access to the gents.

Weird, I have a friend on Facebook who changes her second name to a different swear word each week.

I friend of mine dressed up as a witch and her little baby was a tiny Hobbit that she was holding up with both arms. She made it her profile picture. She's rather a large lady.

Someone made the comment "You look like you are about to eat it!" and all fucking hell broke loose!

@barilindira Well Miss, you are wrong. The latter part of your comment that says the only source of interaction is family and friends. I mean when there was no Facebook, people interacted more and had more fun. It is just that we are hooked to it and now it has become an "integral part of life", as some would call it! But still the point of Facebook is keeping up with family and friends who live on a longer distance. I am not saying that I hate it but it is just that we should not make it "an integral part" we can actually focus on other things like learning, reading and that time will be well spent! Hope you get my point. :)

Christ, if they start talking to one another it's only a matter of time before *insert sci-fi cliche here*.
