Great trailer, and it's nice to see some footage that isn't all shooty-shooty and which shows off some slightly different environments.

*Fly a cool water plane
*Explore cool ruins
*Live in a tropical archipelago
*Find treasures
*Shoot insane amounts of identikit mercenaries in the face....
Maybe I'm getting queesy but it just don't feel right. Sure some shooting and fighting would be fine. Maybe it's just the way the demos have been set up but to me it looks as if the mercenary genocide is getting too much focus.
Still, the game looks like brilliant fun. Better than any horsepower game I've seen. -

Registered 17 years agoYeah. Money's tight. If I really want a game though, I'll trade in the ones I get sent. It's just the last couple of months I've got pretty much what I asked for. Although I get sent other stuff like Fatal Inertia 360 and Conan PS3. -

Registered 17 years agoI get loads of good ones too. As I said, I get 'pretty much' what I ask for. But that is offset by having to play dirge every now and then.
So I'll happily review Conan PS3 when Eternal Sonata comes with it (which it did). Because I review this shite it means I can say, "Ratchet and Clank is mine when it comes out", which it now is etc. etc. -
You could always ebay all the rubbish ones. ^_^ -

I bought conan the other day as a balance to the other games I'm playing and yep, the graphics are totally shit, I could spit at the screen just watching the intro, but the gameplay and the gore make it acceptable, I do like once I'm playing it and during the cut sceenes I go to the bathroom..........so having that send for free is not bad mate!!! -

In your first sentence is where the doubts creep in. Combat.
If it turns into a run and gun-dominated pile of crap just because the yanks are incapable of engaging with any game that doesn't let you shoot people, then it'll be all the poorer for it.
I need to see it running before I get my hopes up. Need to play it. Till then it merely looks great in demo reels, but till I get my sticky paws on it and confirm the bloody thing doesn't frame drop and teararse, I won't be happy.
