Conker sucks, get rid of it.

    End of advice.

Try, try again, and remember that you don't always have to race at full speed. Sometimes it pays to move the control stick down to decelerate. You will always have to jump the lava falls. Third lap, and the final part of the lap asks you to turn right instead of left. Every third lap.

I'm just finding this so hard - love platform games but not really a racing fan so this has thrown me a bit. I get the first one then nearly the second but that's it. As soon as i look at the surfer to get a swing with the bat, I crash especially the cave bit

Well, the cave section's really narrow, so it seems you're going faster than the rest of the course. Largely stay right. If you do feel like you're likely to crash (which would force you to start over) just slow down. The skate punks won't get much further ahead, and also remember that you don't have to complete the challenge in just three laps, as it just repeats until you complete it - unless of course, you go splat!

Thanks - will just keep at it - determined not to give up - This is the most hillarious game I've played.

Mine freezes constantly after I defeat Great Mighty Poo. Although I haven't tried it since the last 2 BC updates, maybe it works better now. Really love this game, bought it again after playing through the single player a lot on the N64.

Haven't had it freeze on me, though the FMV that plays before you go to the start/option screen etc doesn't run smoothly it's a bit stop start.

When I started this level my accumulated game time was almost 15 hours. After reaching almost 24 and a half game hours the level has finally been cracked and I'm able to move on. However it wasn't completed by me but a mate. (who also struggled but had more staying power, I was resigned to call it a day). I am relieved but thoroughly ashamed... beaten by a foul mouthed squirrel.

It took you nearly a month to beat it?

I really struggled at first when I reached it, and it quite frustrating. But a month!?!

    Jesus.

I'd give up after two hours at most, and that's if it was a really good game.

Is it better than the N64 version?

Identical. Just looks very very nice, one of the best looking Xbox games. Game play doesn't age well. Multi player is the worst I have ever experienced though. That person should be shot.

Ironic considering for a *long* time they were marketing this as a *!LIVE!* deathmatch game and only occasionally mentioned the fact it had the full single player there too.

No way, they removed all of the funny lines. The only reason people liked the original was for the naughty words and the amusing way the lines were delivered.

    Really, like what ?

Only thing I remember was that you had to play through once to get rid of the beeps.

Don't know about playing it through once to get rid of the beeps. I completed it on the N64 but not on the xbox since the game always froze after Great Mighty Poo when playing on a 360 (that problem should be fixed now though since the last BC update as far as I know).

Great Mighty Poo was changed - all the 'shit' words were replaced by farting sounds. Not as funny as it sounds. The rest though seems pretty much like on the N64.

Very late to the party but I've been playing this game on an emulator just because I didn't have the chance or time to play it as a kid.
The great thing about the emulator is that you can save the game at any time, and play, and come back to your last save.
Even with this trick, to pass the surfing, it took me between 3 and 5 hours. It's just so easy to hit a wall... I can't imagine doing this on the N64. It did kill the fun, but fortunately the next levels were really fun too so I'm glad I spent that time.

So go really fast, pass a turn and save and keep going. If you hit a wall retry from the last save. Repeat. Go as fast as you can (I think you need to press Z). If you don't you will just endlessly surf around and never catch the punks. The first 2 are easy to get at (with the trick), the last one no, but once you have him in sight never lose it.
Even when going as fast as I could it took me quite a few loops to get closer and closer until I could hit him, so don't desperate.

Good luck and have fun with the rest.
(note: there are other levels later that were not as hard but quite, I'm really glad that I could save and not have to restart from the beginning every time, it didn't kill the purpose at all, I enjoyed the adventure, solving the puzzles - the frustration would have been too much otherwise)
