You're typing it in wrong - I give out free stars to strangers all the time and never have any problems.

Does anyone have any codes for anything apart from a Wii, Wii Sports or Wii Play?
  • Deleted user 3 August 2010 22:46:13
Wii Sports (I just got a wii again but can't register the same game twice)

    WJJD40SS86GZFAML

The 0 may be an O, always hard to tell.
  • Deleted user 3 August 2010 23:20:53
Damn, registered that myself. I didn't realise that some of the codes on games, like Wii Play, go out-of-date. I'm sitting on about 4000 stars I can no longer register because i'd stupidly been saving them up, after previously having all my registered stars taken away from me on the Nintendo website because I hadn't spent them yet. The theiving little people they are!

Yeah, they changed the rules and kept it quieter than you'd expect.
  • Deleted user 4 August 2010 09:58:17
They only go out of date if they've been registered, don't they? That's why I haven't been using any of my recent codes.

I know you can't complain too much about a reward scheme, but the changes they made to this were really dickish. You now get less points per product and they expire if you don't use them fast enough. Makes it virtually impossible to save up for anything decent.
