    I'm tempted by the Fenris but still on the fence. I just backed Escape Plan so my "Must buy something cool" itch is temporarily satisfied.

    I did download the rule book for Rise of Fenris and it looks like a really solid expansion. I'll probably end up getting it. Scythe is probably my favorite game. Even when I play it really poorly I end up having a great time.

    Yay! Someone else backed it!

    Just watched Gallerist Rahdo run through again.......June 2019
    Youtube needs more Escape Plan videos though, looks so so good.

    Did a solo game of Tiny Epic Galaxy and Iíve never been so chuffing bored in my life.

    Mechanically itís sound and all that; I think Iíll pop it back in the cupboard for another day.

    Boo.

    @danathjo it was only ever a question of when rather than if. I did some perfunctory due diligence (watched an how to play, a run down and flicked through the rules) but I always knew I had to back it.

    I'm attracted to the theme
    Love the art work.
    The phrase "somewhat accessible Lacerda" made it a no-brainer.

    I have just pre-ordered Kill Team (40k) for 60 quid. How Games Workshop always manage to drag me back in, I have no idea.

    I do have a craving for a Bugman's now though...

    Out visiting a friend and played some new games 😁

    Mechs Vs minions - absolutely fantastic. Components top quality and really fun puzzles and gameplay. Might need to buy it

    The edge dawnfall - very interesting skirmish game. Feels a bit like what shadespire should have been. Shadespire advanced perhaps.

    Mythic Battles - fun quick skirmish game. Not hard to learn, fairly light.

    Got an entire day of gaming and drinking ahead of me. Tough life :p

    Aeons End - War Eternal.

    Played my first solo game of this last night and really enjoyed it. It looks complex but it's a deceptively simple game to learn. Seems rock hard but the mechanics are great and for a deck builders there is no shuffling, an immediate elimination of tedium! Will give it a go again when these babies give me a bloody rest.

    @AaronTurner

    Enjoyed the first aeons end , war eternal supposed to be even better.

    Interesting fact - it's designed by an ex StarCraft 2 pro.

    Oh no... I've been so good lately, sold lots of games... not bought anything and now all of a sudden I've spent a small fortune on kickstarter in a single day. No idea what happened :|

    On a marginally tangential note, Iíve bought the Ganz Schon Clever app after wondering what all the fuss is about. Now I want to get a physical copy.

    @BearFishPie

    I've got all of Eclipse and some addons and might have bought Batman late pledge with some extras too.

    I sold 250 quids worth of games last Thursday and felt really good about myself. Just blown 400 + USD in a day on Kickstarter. /facepalm

    I'm still pleased by my decision to back escape plan. One of the stretch goals made me realize something interesting though.

    The goal was the dual layered player boards as seen in scythe, ie little depressions that keep cubes in place.

    I love this in Scythe, the tactile feeling of pulling a cube out (revealing a perk) and then plonking it down (covering up a cost) works great and fits well with the industrial theme.

    But in escape plan there are a couple of places (wounds, notoriety) where I'd rather slide things than pick them up and put them down. I know this is me nitpicking to the extreme, but to be honest I'd rather have a big standard player board.

    The only benefit is for the income track.

    @Gregolution it won't ship until June next year so technically it's not a 2018 purchase...

    Took the edge of the buyers remorse for me.

    @Tonka haha

    I'll be backing The Edge when it comes back to KS this year too though.

    I seem to suddenly be backing loads of $200+ games. This hobby is expensive. It's like buying a playstation every time you want a new game.

    Just backed Escape Plan not to forget about it.

    Still ploughing through gloomhaven, so that will probably still be going in a year.

    BTW... Still really rate Dragonfire. Just played my 23rd game with the whole family. Had bags of fun with it, none of us are bored at all as it always throws up a different puzzle.

    @Tonka

    Any kickstarter game with extras.

    The Edge Dawnfall
    Too Many Bones
    7th Continent with all the expansions and guff
    Eclipse
    Batman

    There are fk tonnes of them. Seems very easy to blow 150 quid+ on a game these days

    Gods, you're right. So glad I'm not into minis. The custom meeples that got unlocked for Escape Plan are almost off putting, especially now that they're painted as well.

    Ffs.

    Yeah minis games get crazy expensive.

    But 7th continent isn't, somehow I added a fortune of expansions + mats etc. It's deadly.

    I'm glad I didn't go all in on that. The base box has enough content for me. I'm looking forward to autumn when I'll be inside playing it again.

    The weather right now is too good for gaming.

    Played Robinson Crusoe for the second time last night and absolutely love it.
    It's on point both mechanically and thematically and I can't really think of a criticism.

    Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good coop game.

    Got Legendary for my birthday, it was never the top of my 'got to get' list but after a couple games (both 2 player)...I love it!

    The perfect palate cleanser after playing tons of real thinky games lately, it's just so much fun and easy to play. I've already added the Dark City and Secret Wars 1 box, i'll probably stop once I get the Guardians of the Galaxy small box otherwise i'll have to spread the cards over 2 boxes.

    I'm not into the comics and kinda like the MU movies but after playing this I just might dip my toe ;)

    In other news I see Targi reprint is finally coming out, anyone played it and recommend it? Better/worse than 7 Wonders Duel? Might get both eventually but still...

    I'll need something to play while waiting for Escape plan haha!

    Totally agree. I love it!

    It does a great job of making you feel like you really have washed up on a desert island. It throws tonnes of crap your way as you struggle to survive and you feel like you've really achieved something when you succeed.
