Stunning CG, average comedy. Plenty heartwarming conclusion. Nice way to kill 90 minutes.

My first offering:
Elektra: 51.000006
Despite being glaringly bad I watched it through. Doesn't bother explaining anything, it's like a superhero movie has no need for the plot necessities other films abide by. -

The first 'non-funny' Woody Allen film that I've seen...but still surprisingly excellent.

I don't usually watch this type of movie but it was really quite good. It's not as funny as everyone says it is though; the humor is on a 'Friends' level. Infact it was like one of those episodes of Friends were they actually leave the sudio and go to like London and stuff, except longer and gooder. -

Atonement: Possibly one of the finest movies I've ever seen and that's despite my all pervading hatred for Kiera 'ten year old boy' Knightly. It looks sumptious, the performances are stellar without exception and the dialogue managed to swing deftly between heartwarming to heartbreaking in the blink of an eye.
Conclusion: 93% - Razz is mental. -

It was a reaction deserving of the score. Which was equally as daft.

Trying to be more clever than it acually is, and a 'we ran out of budget' style ending.
Anthony Hopkins puts on a decent performance, but Ryan Gosling is irritating as usual, and Rosamund Pike should be banned from doing any future films. She is dull, boring, expressionless, shit at acting, and has a man's voice. -

The dialouge was all over the place, the acting was awful, the very concept of the film is flawed. And it's too "touchy-feely" like some kind of emo film. I burst out laughing the cinema a few times at how dreadful the acting and dialog was, I brought my self to tears on 2 occasions.
So actually, 0.00001 % for making me laugh at how shit you are. -

Next time I call some of my friends around for an evening in, I'll be choosing the film from my DVD collection. Utter, utter shite of the highest order.
Jesus, I'd watch Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood again, just never again this bullcrap! Love Sandra Bullock, shame a lot of her films are such bollocks.
4/100 (4 for just having Sandra Bullock). -

A really moving and beautiful film based on the true story of a wealthy kid who jacked in society and went wandering across the USA to meet his fate in the Alasakan wilderness. William Hurt has one small scene pretty much guaranteed to make you well up, and there's a great performance from Hal Holbrook.
A poignant and inspiring film that makes you want to burn yer money and set off, albeit with an inflatable raft, just in case. -
