Hopefully they do a sequel about a robot with a loads of vaginas. But only one of them can save the world. The can call it Specific Quim.

    Last Action Hero - 7/10

Not one of Arnie's best but I like it. Bit tame with the meta compared to stuff today but it's kinda funny I suppose. The kid is so annoying he knocks a mark off all by himself. What is it with Shane Black and annoying know-it-all kids?

I watched Ghost Stories. It was quite good (more of a tv movie that cinema I'd say). 7/10

    Wind River - 8/10

Elizabeth Olsen in a thong for literally one second.

    Would recommend.

Imagine if they made a sequel but it was about a sail boat captain. And the boat he was sailing hit some bad weather and the sail holder broke. And he had to hold it in place until he was able to sail to dry land. They could call it Mast Traction Hero.

    Infinity War

I'd tuned out of Marvel films as I wasn't really enjoying them. A few mates told me this and Black Panther were much better and to give them a try - they lied.

Nothing bad but nothing really good, just the same homogenised feeling I've got from the last decade of their films. Think this'll be the last one for me.

    5/10

I fucking love this film. I especially like the differences in how Arnie's world and the real world are shot. The latter being grim as hell.

Last action hero is amazing. Probably my favorite guilty pleasure.

    [Jack Slater is Hamlet]

Hamlet: Hey Claudius! You killed my father! Big mistake!

Narrator: Something is rotten in the state of Denmark, and Hamlet is taking out the trash.

Old Man: Stay thy hand, fair prince.

Hamlet: [shooting him] Who said I'm fair?

Narrator: No one is going to tell this sweet prince good night.

Hamlet: To be or not to be? Not to be.

I would have loved a full length Jack Slater film.

On an 80s kick at the moment and watched 2 10/10 films.

Raging Bull - De Niro gives the greatest acting performance of all time, hands down. Pesci keeps up with him every step of the way, and Scorsese directs the hell out of it.

The Thing - It's one of my favourite movies of all time and I watch it probably every few months. Just can't help myself. This would probably be my desert island movie, or Back to the Future.

Get Out - Old creeping unease style of horror with little actual gore that you just don't get so much of these days / 10.

I think I quite liked Get Out. Not as much as I hoped I would, but still very effective at times. The bit where the gardener is running full tilt towards the camera got the sphincter loosening a bit. The denouement wasn't as mind blowing as I thought it would be, not sure if I saw it coming but I didn't seem particularly surprised, and it left me feeling a little flat. Still a decent watch though. Might need to see it again now my expectations aren't there.

    End of Days

Rewatched this for the first time since I saw it on release, and had convinced myself over the years that it was one of those late 90's films with horribly shit CGI. Other than a couple of dodgy bits right near the end, I was wrong; it's actually a really decent flick in which Arnhuld is better when "acting" than when he is when actioning.

Plus - Miriam Margolyes kicks the shit out of The Terminator.

    7.69 Millennium Bugs/10

    Justice League

    Fucking hell. Where to start?

Absolute saturation point of superhero movies/10.

    Ant man and the wasp

Enjoyable tosh. Not as good as the first but still fun. A few genuine laughs out loud moments. Plot was okay I suppose.

    6/10

    Calibre

Netflix hosted film about a deer stalking trip in the Highlands gone wrong. It's brilliant. Basically every piece ticks a box for me, the setting, the tension, the visceral look and feel of it all.

    Definite recommend

    9/10

End of Days kind of sucks but until The Rock came along to save Hollywood it was probably one of the last fun non-superhero action films
