I'm watching it right now. The leggy ginger has very supple breasts. No dinosaurs yet.

I do love BDH. She's a rare celebrity kid who, thankfully, looks nothing like her dad.

    They are ghosts.

    It's reverse Sixth Sense.

The guy who played Buffalo Bill is in it. I don't think he's gonna make it.

The BBFC ordered all of the dinosaurs to be cut out to avoid upsetting the easily startled.

Seriously, for a movie called Jurassic world, 80% of the movie is missing dinosaurs and the 20% of them that are in there is broken down into

    15% Dino's in cages
    3% Dinos getting blown up
2% Dinos killing dumb people/fighting each other

It is not a great movie and i liked the first Jurassic world

also i pointed it out to my missus but a Brachiosaurusor whichever long necked dino they decided it was, is 40 ft tall, i am sure it could have walked into the sea for a bit and avoided all the lava and shit - obviously not too far but a little bit probably would have been enough

The end felt particularly weak to me. Marvel taking out all of the Accuserís bombardment by chucking the lead bomb back at the downfall took all the drama out of the scene.

This would have been better if they'd had a Missile Command arcade cabinet somewhere else in the film

Fallen Kingdom really did make very little sense. Genetic hybrids of extinct animals selling for, in modern terms, fairly small sums of money (surely at a massive loss considering the effort to capture/regrow them), to be used as vague weapons when they're demonstrably untameable and a colossal liability.

Honestly it would have been way more entertaining if they'd gone ahead and mounted machine guns to them. If you're going to make no sense anyway you may as well go balls out mental.

A Brachiosaurusor wandering a little bit into the sea wouldn't be much good against the ferocity of lava I don't think. I like your thinking, but that lava would have probably gone miles out to sea.

Also, why are you spoiling something that didn't happen in the film! :D

I think he's referring to a specific scene in the film. The bit where the Brachiosaurusor stands on the end of the pier and gets all sad before it gets melted.

Some of early paleontologists had a theory that Brachiosaurs and other long necked dinosaurs lived in water all the time and used their necks like periscopes. However it has since been shown that this couldn't be possible as the water pressure would collapse their airways.
    End of lecture.

I'm a huge Jurassic Park fan. I even read the awful, god bothering books, and can find redeeming qualities of even Vince Vaughan, but the JW films have been like I imagine being forced to watch my sainted grandmother being banged by a gorilla, mostly without her consent but occasionally catching her having a flash of a smile briefly before more painful dry reaming.

It really shouldn't be hard (JP movies, not fucking my dead grammy), ALL I wanted from either of them was to have an opening scene of rolling pastures, with some Dino noises and then drawing back to show loads of CGI dinosaurs (this can be unconvincing and shit) and THE MUSIC plays.

That would genuinely be enough for me to get a semi and a tear rolling down my face.

But no. They didn't do that, preferring instead to fuck about with stupid plot lines

    Captain marvel

Really enjoyed it. As said else where the cast are fantastic. It maybe isnít A tier Marvel but itís damn close. For an Origins film it ticks all the right boxes, there is little or no flab to it and is miles ahead of what Dr Strange and say Antman are.

The ending is a bit whiz bang and suffers from showing her off as way to powerful but that is only 3/4 minutes of not even 2 hours.

Also great to see Samuel L Jackson on some good form.

    4/5

And man I feel old. Using early mid 90s culture as nostalgic references made me wince

    Alita battle angel.

My girls were off school today so I gave them the choice of Alita or Captain marvel.

I enjoyed it a lot although I was shocked it wasn't a 15. If I knew it was like that I wouldn't have taken them.

Alita herself was incredibly done, possibly the best animated character I've ever seen.

Pretty shit ending though and a few unexplained areas, could have done with a longer run time.

    7/10

    The Endless

    7/10

Don't let the words 'crazy UFO death cult put you off' as The Endless has so much more to offer. I don't recall seeing anything quite like it in the past.
