I'll have to mentally remember now to disregard any further opinions posted by Bichii now.

    Fuck me.

It’s dated in the sense that general film making technology and technique has moved on, but put T1 and T3 together and see which one is still fucking awesome today and which one looks like an Amazon Prime pilot.

Oh hell yes. T1 is still better than all the terminators after 2 and still better than most movies these days. I just held it as this 10/10 masterpiece but watching it now it doesn't hold up quite as well to the other 80s classics. It is getting better though as we go. Just had the nightclub shoot out.

Looking forward to police station scene

Pulp Fiction on the big screen, first movie back at the cinema and I enjoyed it just as much as I did in 94 😃

Some interesting observations, when I watched it back then I was freaking out at one point as the smoke alarm goes off in a certain scene and I was smoking a joint in the cinema at the time and thought I’d set the alarm off in real life. I find it hard to believe you could smoke in the cinema back then never mind a joint but that’s the way it was

Also I think Pulp Fiction may have invented spooning, you constantly hear it on reality TV shite now but when the French lady says “can we make spoons” it may have been the genesis of spooning

Pulp fiction is definitely one of the best movies of all time. Not sure if it's my favourite Qt film or not.

It's always looked a bit low budget to be fair. Still great though. Comparing it to Alien and Blade Runner is kind of unfair, they're still 2 of the best looking films ever made.

    @retro74 nope.

Trying to think of all his movies. There isn't a bad one. 9 isn't it?

    Pulp fiction
    Reservoir dogs
    Kill bill
Once upon a time in Hollywood
    Kill bill 2
    Djamgo
    Jackie brown
    Hateful eight
    Inglorious bastards
    Death proof

I think that's my order, maybe.

    DeathProof is total shit.

How you have Django and Jackie Brown below both the kill bills is beyond comprehension.

@Bichii not far off mine but I like The Hateful Eight a little more. Didn’t like Basterds much other than the one amazing scene

From pulp fiction to hateful eight they are all amazing no matter the order. Only bastards and death proof I wasn't a fan of. I think Jackie brown is the most over looked.

I remember watching a kill bill double bill not long after the second one came out.

I've never been so fucking bored. Tarantino is not my cup of tea.

Love the first Kill Bill, probably my second favourite of his after Pulp Fiction. He's a bit hit and miss for me now to be honest. I find his shtick has become a bit worn as the films have went on.

When people use that cheesy “inject this content straight into my veins” meme on the Internet it feels somehow apt for Kill Bill, I fucking love it. I remember watching so many people walk out of the cinema for part 1 and wondering just why they even bought a ticket

Django and PF for me, Both brilliant and I could and do watch them again and again as the opportunity arises. Jackie Brown is right on their tail.

That scene with leo holding the skull in Django, damn. I used to hate him but for 15+ years now he's been in almost all movies that I absolutely love

    Django
    Shutter Island
    Wolf of wall Street
    Inception
Once upon a time in Hollywood
    Revenant
    Blood diamonds
    Gangs of new York
    The departed
    Etc!

I love both kill bills. Vol 2 had some great bits. The pai mei training, the smackdown with Daryl Hannah. The climatic heart exploder move on ole strangle wanker.

Just put Terminator on as it happens. Hadn't realised you could see little Arnold bobbing about at the start.

Reverting back to Arnie briefly Predator is his best but Total Recall is awesome and it has my favourite Arnie line... "See you at the party Richter!"

One day I'll happen upon an arm chopping or elevator plunge and be able to shout it out.

Yeah I'm well overdue a rewatch of Total Recall. Predator I watch at least 3 or 4 times a year always while pissed. What's got Billy so spooked. They way he says spooked. Magnificent.

We begin finding our men. We found them sometimes without their skin... and sometimes much, much worst.

Here we are again, bro... Just you and me. Same kind of moon, same kind of jungle. Real number 10, remember? Whole platoon, 32 men chopped into meat... We walk out, just you and me, nobody else. Right on top, huh? Not a scratch... Not a fuckin' scratch. You know, who ever got you, they'll come back again. And when he does, I'm gonna cut your name right into him... I'm gonna cut your name into him!

Kyle Reece deserved a better career. Did he actually do anything else of note other that Terminator and Alien?

Don't get started on the quotes! Definitely my favourite action movie ever.

The son of a bitch is dug in like a Alabama tick...

I probably said that completely wrong 😂

Always thought the same. He was a great leading man I thought (well, in about the 3 things I've ever seen him in)

He was good in abyss as well. Basically James Cameron movies. Maybe he had personal issues etc that stopped others hiring him?
