I don't think I've ever seen The Last Boy Scout, will have to check it out one bored evening.

Anyway, back OT, Ironclad - 6/10. Entertaining enough, with plenty of medieval types being hacked and slashed in various ways, but didn't really like the choppy editing. Paul Giamatti is ace as King John, and Brian Cox was typically Brian Cox. Worth a watch if you like medieval stuff.

And, incredibly, the droning voice of Rosanne Barr as his sister in the sequel.

Anyone ever see Bruce's short-lived kid's cartoon that he wrote and voiced? That Bruno The Kid shite?

North, Colour of Night, Mercury Rising - Bruce can be very bad, and is in some very bad films.

Breakfast of Champions was hilariously terrible.

Armageddon is truly awful as well, despite being popular for some reason.

Bruce is quite good in Armageddon, despite it being fucking shite. To be fair, hes usually the best thing about most things hes in, despite a massive chunk of them being awful.

Kevin Smith has plenty to say on the subject, although he is a bitter loser to be fair.

Most of the Hollywood people do on things like that since its usually stop no. 598 of 3012.

Who in their right mind would go on the one show unless they were contractually obligated to?

I've heard that the tour circuit stuff is one of the worst things about being a Hollywood star (poor them, crying into their piles of money etc etc). Dragged onto shows you've never heard of, given identical questions by presenters you've also never heard of, sometimes literally hundreds of times in just a couple of months. If you think the movie you just completed is an utter pile of shit (which apparently Willis does), it must be just utterly draining and soul destroying.

Then again, some of them seem to utterly thrive on it. Tom Cruise, for instance.

No ones saying 'it sucks to be bruce' but him coming off as a cunt on the one show is, in the grand scheme of things, perfectly understandable.

From all reports he very much makes it known if he doesn't like what he's doing. Like how he was decent on the Die Hard 4 set, but an utter cunt on Cop Out and Surrogates. He's one of these "you can tell this was a contract movie" kinda people. Probably most noticeable in The Jackal. Even onscreen he didn't even look like he gave a shit.

    Safe 6/10

Never been a fan of Jason Statham, but comedy American accent aside the first half of the movie is surprisingly great, with some great bone crunching and wince enducing encounters mixed in with a decent enough story that at least makes you care. The second half unfortunately goes all 'generic action movie' and somehow manages to make the plot (baring in mind this is a Statham action movie) confusing and hard to follow.

If it ramped up the intensity of the first half this could have been an easy 8 or 9, but it looses its way and ends with a whimper :(
