Spoke is it, I think. Go thorough their sizing questionnaire.

New bike time! Unfortunately it's come with some el-cheapo wheels, so needs sorting before I pick it up. Still, it looks the bees knees I think.

    That a power meter crankset?

Na just a Rotor Flow, their 'aero' chainset, I think it can use ovalised rings but comes with standard ones. I'm tempted to get some Garmin Vector 3s for power meter usage at some point, but they are forever out of stock.

Already been some crashes in the sighting runs on the Giro TT course. Apparently Constantin Siutsou may have broken his collarbone, and Froome was limping heavily after coming off.

I need a sanity check, and maybe, a bit of a hug.

Won a Cannondale Supersix on eBay, with upgraded Kysrium Elite S wheels (the one upgrade Iíd want to make straight away) and tasty Fizik saddle, £700.
Went to pick it up just now, got it in the boot and, two minutes down the road, I thought Iíd stop and stick a towel between the wheels as they were rattling a bit. Opened the boot up and spotted a mark on the down tube of the bike. My heart sank when I realised it was more of a gouge, probably 15mm wide and 1.5mm deep.

Took it straight back and told him he was keeping it. It was right in the area thatíd, possibly, fold under braking strain- I think Iíd have been worried about it on every descent. It was probably a mudguard rub or something and if itíd been an aluminium bike it just would have polished the finish.

Gah, gutted. But Iím thinking, even if it wasnít a problem itíd have devalued the bike and in that particular place it could have been a real problem...

Back on mine tomorrow after more than a year out, only a 5k ride into the city centre but man is it hilly.

Had to pack it in because I was getting severe bollock pain, and then I had a vasectomy and fucked the whole business off.

Nads seem to have settled down so I'm going to give it a go...

Not bad, 25 minutes, no apparent injuries, but... I forgot my towel, and the showers at the office are out of order. Fuck my life.

Been a bit stop start this year. Went out for a couple of hours on sunday which was mostly fine. Been working 50 hour weeks of late so hadn't felt like going out much. Got today and tomorrow off so will go out again tomorrow.

Good to see so many people are back on it - I went out twice over the weekend. Kicked my own head in for 100km on Saturday, and felt better than I expected.

Still on my winter bike though, which is annoying. Waiting for the arrival of my summer frameset back from the painter...

@gamecat You could get some Hunt wheels for that - £399, about 350g lighter than your DT Swiss https://www.huntbikewheels.com/collections/road-wheels/products/aero-light-disc-road-wheelset-1449g-28deep-22wide

Hunt wheels seem good price/performance wise, I was going to get some of the aero 50s if I couldn't swap those Dtswiss out. As it is they seem to have honoured my original quote for some Forza R45s (Ridley's in house brand), quite a difference from the current ones.

@elstoof The Rourke needed a refresh - loads of paint chips and scrapes. Also painting the fork plain black to dial down the massive ENVE logo.

    They're taking their sweet time!

@MikeP @gamecat I've got those Hunt wheels and they are really nice. They seem well built and roll well with a good hub sound. The minimal graphics look good too. Plus ~450g lighter than the Fulcrums they replaced.

Yates is riding his little legs off at the moment. Fair play.

Yesterday's stage was SO GOOD. Very happy for Chavez too, he's one of my fave riders.

Pretty harsh to only categorise the last 15km of the climb when they're actually ascending for more like 30.

Yeah Yates looks like he is in prime condition, he made yesterday look easy. Just hope he ain't too overcooked come week 3. But bodes well. Working today so will catch up with today's stage later on.

Lack of tv/cable Eurosport is hampering me following much this year. I nearly bought the app to follow but it has literally the worst reviews Iíve seen in ages- a sea of one stars complaining about terrible quality and feeds dropping out all the time. I tried to add Eurosport to my TV on PlusNet but the twats insist adding it in is a new 18 month contract.

I think quest has highlights this year which is on freeview. Also amazon video has Eurosport as a channel which you can purchase.

I had a guy from Brighton turn up late last night, about 8, to pick up a mountain bike I sold. Retro cro-moly Stooge 29er. He pulled up in a taxi and told me he was planning to ride it back, starting with riding to Oxford last night.
About 40 miles. In the dark and probably about 3 and a half hours... because itís a fucking single speed.

Iíve messaged him this morning to check if heís still alive.
