Haha sorry. I just know if I was a kid I'd be all over that bad boy.

Seems Carrera Blast's are fairly well respected as good bikes for this age group too, missed out on a Marketplace bargain earlier today, it was only £40 (£245 new).

The Frog and the Islabikes are bloody expensive, but bloody excellent too considering they’re kids bikes. We bought a second hand one for £200 (!), but still managed to sell it for £165 a couple of years later though so they keep their value.
Hoy bikes are well made and of equal quality too in my experience.

Wiggle/CRC do a great range of lightweight kids bikes. Cheaper than Frog and Isla.

Can anyone suggest any decent manufacturers for a climbers jersey? (yes, the pornographic basically see through ones)

Sadly Pactimo sold out of mediums and the only way I'd get into a small is if someone shortened a few of my ribs.

    What's your aesthetic?

    - Novelty
    - Black
    - Obnoxiously garish
    - Brights

Why don't you just go topless? I don't see the point in having a skin tight shirt when you could just go topless.

Actually I was into buying jerseys about 7 years ago. But last few days I've been riding in FOX shirts and I literally see no difference in performance. GOTTA SHAVE THAT 0.4 SECONDS OFF LADS.

Because believe it or not, more layers can actually make you cooler, as long as they're the right layers.

I found this out to my complete shock doing an event in Spain during a 40c heatwave.

Red, Black, Blue mostly. No stupid graphics, usually like to keep it fairly classic style.

I tend to like Castelli... when I'm skinny enough to fit in them!

On the trainer? Why not just the castelli mesh base layer, I wear them all year round under jerseys except when too cold

    https://www.wiggle.co.uk/castelli-core-mesh-3-sleeveless-base-layer

They do them with sleeves too if you aren’t digging the Freddy Mercury look, but sleeved base layers are shit under jerseys

Cheers. I actually have that base layer, it's what I wore during the heatwave I mentioned. Incredible effect for something so simple.

This will be for a couple of summer events I've got coming up. No massive rush to get one yet, but I will definitely want one this time as I REALLY fucking struggle in the heat. Cuts my power output by a huge amount and since my injury I really can't afford to lose what little I have.

Le Col have a wahoo tie-in mesh jersey for indoor training Psychotext, think it's over a ton though, so elstoof's catelli base layer will be much more cost effective.

My lightest jersey is one of dhb’s Lab range. Plenty of perforations, so mind your keys don’t ladder it… and good luck carrying anything heavier than a Nokia 3210 in the them!

Castelli Superleggera jersey is decent. I mainly wear Rapha Pro jerseys in summer, they’re light enough for me but they do a Flyweight version too. Pretty much any of those brands’ lightweight jerseys will be much of a muchness. 6 foot, 72kg and I’m a small in Rapha Pro

Most smalls are too short as well as being too small for me, even at race weight. But I suspect that's mostly because of Italian style sizing.

Pro Team small is spot on for me length wise, it’s very snug though. Painted on style. The regular line jerseys I bought in the past came up much shorter

This is why I hate cycling sizes. I’m 5ft8 and 68kg and wear large DHB. Can’t remember if a couple of Aeron range stuff I have is medium though. Always trial and error buying stuff. Though to be fair I was 75kg when I first brought them so perhaps a smaller size may now fit.

I have been looking for a couple of new jerseys for summer though. Might treat myself and splash out a little more, perhaps or le col or Rapha.

My castelli base layers are large, Rapha pro team jerseys small, pro team thermal base layers medium, bib shorts medium, it’s a minefield alright. The current pro jerseys are great, big improvement over the older ones where the pockets sagged like a sweaty knacker

I always buy two sizes of anything I've not tried before. Was my first time buying Pactimo jerseys and they're definitely Italian style sizing.

Amazing given they're American. I'd love to see the yank that's used to fitting into an American small / petite try to get into one of those jerseys!

The factory who design and assemble their kit probably isn’t American though
