Speaking of Ribble. NBD has arrived

    Phwoar. You must be tall?

In the backdrop stakes though, Decks has got you beat.
Here's another one. I can actually already hear the screams for how many rules are broken here.

Not really a rule but worth avoiding laying it down on the drive side, you could knock the rear mech and have to walk home

    @freddymercurystwin

This was pre-covid, so it was only a couple of weeks.

    :D

You know how Obi-wan feels the screams of alderaan being snuffed out?

    Basically that.

To increase the screaming, I've just picked up my Focus Jam2. I am fat and lazy, and can't wait to see how many trips to A&E I can earn myself riding a 150mm full-squish electrotank that weighs nearly 3 time as much as my hardtail.

    Fat and laaaaazy.

Got stung on my eye today, little bastard somehow hit the tiny gap on my forehead between my lid and glasses and got pushed down behind the lens. Donít think he was happy about the arrangement so shoved his stinger on my bottom eyelid in protest

    Ouch.

I often don't take glasses out with my and get flies in the eye or painful bugs bouncing off my eyeballs, usually I kick myself for not taking them, but you're making me think that i may be on to something!

I normally always wear them but finding I need to run without them at the minute as I keep needing to wipe the sweat out if my eyes.

I generally take them off for hills, then lose them on the descent, or crash trying to put them on whilst descending.

I'm not good at this cycling stuff.

@Psychotext yea as one my bosses sincerely told me once, maybe you need to take a long hard look in the mirror, cycling, houses, is there anything you don't fuck up?

Our impromptu but very overdue house sell/purchase has clearly put the very nearly button pushed Ribble e-bike purchase on hold for the foreseeable!

Pretty certain the house had nothing to do with me.

Funnily enough I had a bee wedge itself under my helmet strap/glasses etc two weeks ago and it managed to sting me right where my jaw hinges. That was bloody odd for a few days.

Have to wear some sort of eye stuff as I use gas permeable contacts- hard resin. If any bits get under them itís absolute murder, like someoneís jabbing a needle in your eye. Always want them off on the up hills too.

Not much, +2, +2.5. The visions better with them. Grit aside.

I thought this only gave those to the -10 brigade. Iíve only ever worn soft lenses, are they that much better? Do they ďbreathĒ as well as soft lenses?

Just had a Castelli Insider and Madison Turbo Jersey arrived. I BARELY fit in the medium Castelli (I weigh 61kg at 5' 10"). It's legit indecent, I'd honestly consider wearing a different top out to the garage and changing. lol

I'm not sure that would help my neighbours avoid scratching their own eyes out.

Theyíre ever more rare and tech that predates soft contact lenses but definitely not inferior, I think softs were developed because you have to be careful to clean rigid ones each day or protein builds up and it takes a couple of weeks to get used to them. The visions significantly sharper and more steady for me but prob depends on the prescription needed.
If youíre not already using them and as you do sport Iíd probably stick with what you know.

Iíve worn softs basically every day since I was about 10, in the last couple of years though Iíve noticed vision to be a bit sharper when I take my lenses out in the evening and put my glasses on. Donít know if itís degraded during the day or what though. Iím around -5 and a bit astigmatic, did a bit of reading earlier on GP so I might give them a try next time Im at the optician

I have a dhb mesh base layer for longer indoor sessions. Definitely only for indoor use & not near windows facing any neighbours.

With the bib shorts and that top the missus can barely help herself.

Sadly, she can barely help herself from screaming & running away. Especially when i'm all super sweaty post-cycle!
