I've just done a search and nothing has turned up so I think it's time to start a new thread!

I have no idea when it came out, but I've just downloaded it onto my k800i and it works like a dream! I've used previous versions of the browser before but, as always, the pages hardly ever displayed correctly.

With this one you start with an overview of the page as you would with a desktop browser and then you can zoom in the certain parts of the page so you can actually read it! It's dead spanky though, have a do if you get the chance! (and have a good enough phone of course) It almost renders EuroGamer perfectly!

Go to www.operamini.com on your phone to download it. It's taken some of the thunder out of the iPhone for me I can tell you! God I sound like a plant, I'm really impressed though.

P.s. Yes I posted this from my phone, suprise suprise.

I was just about to start a thread on this. I've had free internet on my K810i for the last week, and I've been using this. It really is surprisingly good, a bit fiddly to use (naturally) but all pages load up quick and the zooming-in option works a treat.

Not a great substitute for proper internet on a PC of course, but it's great for checking stuff when you're out and about - plus it's given me a chance to browse the forum when I'm at home!

It's annoying that it can't use the Blackberry data service. Google Maps has no problem using it, but if I want to use Opera on my Blackberry I have to either pay O2 a further £7.50 a month for unlimited use of their data service on top of my Blackberry tariff, or pay per ue.

    Which is annoying.

Just downloaded this to my phone and I'm very impressed. It's fast, easy to use and doesn't do a bad job of rendering the proper internet on my crappy w800i. Nice!

Fantastic little program for those of us who aren't shelling out £30 a month for an iPhone and 3G connection. Thanks to turning images off and Opera's compression servers, I can surf for about an hour and still only use like 1MB. Bloody fantastic.
