Just wanted to share - got my oldest son's birthday tomorrow and we are doing an "arcade in the living room" party for him.

Going to have the xbox one on the main tv , wii u on a 32" , the 360 on an old 28" and 4 player mario kart on the 3ds's

Was thinking 4 player mario kart 8 on the wii U (there are 9 kids in total) and 4 player BLOPS 2 on the 360. Titanfall of PVZ on the One.

Any other game suggestions for a party (that aren't ridiculous violent)

Going to spend this evening having a 'sunset supper' on the Lady Florence in Orford with a lovely woman I have been seeing for the past month now.

Tomorrow consists of a wedding that starts at midday and finishes at one o'clock in the morning, as that is when the place on the quayside - where the reception is being held - closes. Now, they are a wonderful couple and I am pleased my friend has a new-found happiness about him after his previous wife-to-be cheated on him (no, it wasn't me!), but a thirteen hour wedding?

If/when I get married, I shall gladly begin at four o'clock to save my guests from those mind-numbing afternoon hours of boredom between the wedding service itself and the night time entertainment. Just get on with it please!

Sunday will see me stroll from stage to stage at the Latitude Festival; I am well aware that the line-up (on the day) isn't as good as today or tomorrow however, with the early wedding on Saturday, I could only make it on Sunday. It helps that my brother lives in Blythburgh, which is no more than ten minutes away from Henham Park.

Not a bad weekend, if I say so myself!

    : )

Have a Barbeque on Sunday and bugger all planned for the rest of the weekend.

I am tempted to drive up to the Upton blues festival but willing compatriots in arms are somewhat lacking in enthusiasm. Can't stand that all my mates balls seem to have been stolen by their womenfolk. I had asked my best mate for a drink tonight. Do you know what his reply was?

As long as i'm back before 7 or Katie(his misses) will be upset.

A very very rich friends 21st tomorrow night at his massive house. Gonna be a DJ and a marquee and free drink and god knows what the fuck else.... :D

Tonight we are chilling the fuck out in the gym and pool, then ruining our efforts afterwards with takeaway.

Sunday shall most likely be a day of recovery, until I'm sober enough to visit my grandfather for his birthday.

Currently on the way to London to see a friend I haven't seen in about 4 or 5 years. Haven't got a clue what I'm doing when I get down there, especially when I have 5 or 6 hours to kill when I arrive, waiting for her to finish work. Hoping the handful of apps I've downloaded will help me navigate the capital.

Guardians of the Galaxy at the IMAX tonight.

Nothing planned for the rest of the weekend. Wouldn't mind catching up on a few more films but if the weather's decent, will be in the beer gardens of Manchester.

Nothing tonight (playing hearthstone with my shiny new cards). Gym taster tomorrow morning, followed by drinks, fried chicken and blues with an old pal in the Big Smoke.

Does nobody around here finish at 5? Feel like we're the only ones stuck in the office until that time.
